What the episode covers
The story begins with the team behind Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, who were handed the next project at Ubisoft Montreal, a new Prince of Persia for the next generation of consoles. That project became Assassin's Creed in 2007. The episode then follows the series game by game, including:
- Assassin's Creed II (2009) and Brotherhood (2010), when several teams worked side by side so a new game could ship every year
- Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (2013) and its spin-off Freedom Cry
- Rogue and Unity in 2014
- Origins (2017), Odyssey (2018) and Valhalla (2020)
- Mirage (2023) and Shadows (2025)
- Black Flag Resynced, the 2026 remake from Ubisoft Singapore for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
