getcheapgames compares the prices game key stores publish, so you can see the cheapest before you buy. We sell nothing ourselves: when you buy, you buy from the store, on the store’s terms.

Most links to stores on this site are affiliate links: when you buy through one, the store may pay us a commission, and it costs you nothing extra. Steam and the Nintendo eShop are the exceptions — we carry their prices as the official ones to compare against, and earn nothing from them.
Commission never changes the order of the results, and nobody can pay for a place in them: there are no sponsored rows. Nothing we hold about visitors is sold.
We collect the prices stores list for game keys on a schedule, not live, and each store has its own: Steam is re-priced nightly, and the stores page shows when we last checked each of the others. Every row in a price table carries the time we last saw that price, and we do not list a price we have not seen.
Prices can move before you reach a store. The price at the store’s checkout is the one that counts.
By the price each store lists, and by nothing else. Marketplaces add a service fee at checkout that our prices do not include. On a game’s page, official stores are listed before marketplaces, because buying a stranger’s key is not the same purchase as buying the store’s own; within each group, the order is price alone.
Two kinds: official stores, which sell and support their own keys, and marketplaces, where third-party sellers set the price and the marketplace may add a fee at checkout.
