Questions about Detention
Is a Detention key cheaper than buying it on Steam?
Yes. The cheapest key that activates in the UK costs £2.52, 71% less than the £8.99 Steam asks.
What is the lowest Detention price in the last 30 days?
The lowest price we recorded for Detention in the last 30 days, counting keys for every region, was £1.79. The lowest listed price for a key that activates in the UK is £2.52 today.
Do these Detention prices include fees?
Not always. Stores that sell their own keys, such as Steam and GOG, add no service fee, though sales tax is added at checkout in the US and Canada. Marketplaces add a service fee at checkout, and some payment methods add their own, so on a marketplace the total at checkout will be higher than the price listed here.
Will every Detention key work in the UK?
Not all of them. Keys sold for another region (ROW) may not activate on an account registered in the UK; that applies to 1 of the 13 offers here. The cheapest key named above does.
Is it safe to buy a cheap Detention key?
Official stores sell their own keys. Marketplaces and third-party sellers sell keys from other sellers: check the seller and the key’s region before you buy, and pay through the store’s own checkout.
