The game is set in the 1920s, and on the East Coast of the United States lies a city that holds many sinister secrets. What is going on in the half-submerged city of Oakmont? Are the people living there just insane, or is there more to this place than meets the eye. It's your job to see what unknown forces are gripping the minds of the inhabitants of this place. Just be careful that you also don't slip into insanity. If you do, you might never be able to leave this horrific town. The Sinking City is an investigation video game that has been inspired by the magnificent universe created by the one and only H.P. Lovecraft, the renowned and respected master of cosmic horror. Dark and powerful forces are lurking beneath the surface. Feel the game's insanely oppressive and eerie atmosphere as you explore a town, or more precisely, a home of nightmarish and vile creatures that you can kill by using all kinds of weapons from the 1920s era. Explore the game's open world on foot, sail the waters on a boat, or put on a diving suit and see what kind of evil lurks at the bottom. There are many ways to solve all the cases found in the game, and each one will have a ripple effect that decides what kind of ending you're going to get.
