The story starts with the walkout at the studio behind Medal of Honor, which became Infinity Ward and made the first Call of Duty in 2003. From there it goes through all 23 main games in order, including:
- Call of Duty 2 (2005) and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007)
- World at War (2008), where the Zombies mode began
- the 2010 firing of Infinity Ward's leaders after Modern Warfare 2 and the legal fight that followed
